The Houston Texans started things off by selecting Oklahoma runningback Adrian Peterson. Peterson could have an outstanding rookie year running behind a very good offensive line. Defenses, however, will be looking to stop Peterson first as the Texans passing game is a bit suspect. Peterson should help in that area too; He isn't expected to be a prolific receiver right away, but is a threat to score every time he touches the ball.
